Privacy Notice
This notice covers the public pages on HerpesDatingWA.com, including our Washington city guides and Blog. Its purpose is to explain how browsing this website differs from creating a dating account. You can read here without submitting a profile or telling us your herpes status.
Information you do not need to provide here
The public website has no account signup form, contact form, member messaging system or place to upload medical records. We do not ask you to submit your name, email address, health history or photographs to read an article. Please do not treat the site as a place to send sensitive medical or financial information.
Information involved in loading a page
Like other websites, these pages are delivered through a hosting provider. A page request can include your IP address, the requested address, the time, browser information and the referring page when your browser supplies it. The hosting service may process or retain routine access and security records to deliver pages, diagnose problems and protect the site.
Those hosting records are separate from a dating profile. This notice does not claim a fixed retention period for provider-managed logs or promise that browsing produces no records.
Cookies, analytics and page controls
As of the date above, we have not added Google Analytics, advertising pixels, third-party analytics tools or a cookie-based advertising system to these public pages. The site's menu and article filters do not require a login or store a dating profile in your browser.
Your browser, network and hosting infrastructure may still process information while a page loads. You can manage cookies, browsing history and permissions through your browser. This website does not currently offer a separate advertising or analytics preference panel.
If you choose to register
A Join Free link opens a separate dating service through our registration referral address. That service handles the account, photographs, messages and other information you choose to provide there under its own privacy notice and account controls. We do not receive your dating profile or private messages through these static pages.
Referral links may carry a referral identifier so the destination can recognize the source of a visit. Before sharing health or identity details, review the destination's privacy choices. Requests about an account or messages held there should go through that service's account or support options.
When you follow a resource link
Links to transit agencies, public-health organizations and other resources open independent websites. Those organizations may have different data practices. A source link is there to help you check information, not to extend this notice to another website.
Changes to this notice
If tools or data-handling practices on these public pages change, this notice should change with them. The date above shows when this version was updated. For advice about choosing what to share with a potential date, use our separate dating privacy guide; it is practical reading, not a substitute for this website notice.
